This Privacy Policy describes how Miroko SmartLedger ("the App") handles information when you use it. We are committed to a "Local-First" philosophy, meaning your data belongs to you.

1. Information You Provide

• Financial Records: Expenses, incomes, notes, and categories you enter manually.
• Receipt Images: Images you scan using the camera.
• Google Account Access: Used ONLY if you explicitly enable Cloud Sync.

2. On-Device Processing (OCR)

We use Google ML Kit to recognize text on receipts. This process happens entirely on your device. Your receipt images are never sent to Miroko servers.

3. Cloud Sync (Google Drive)

If you connect Google Drive, the App creates a single spreadsheet in your Drive. We access only the files created by the App (using the drive.file scope). We cannot see your other files.

4. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored in a secure local database (Room/SQLite) on your phone. If you uninstall the app without backing up, this data is removed by the Android OS.
